We have a client that is seeing something I have never seen before. In Laserfiche 10.1 they perform a search. From within the search results they drag and drop a file onto another file and have it add the pages to the last page. After it does that, it creates what looks like a temporary file and the user can see it. If you try to access it, it says the file does not exist. If you run the same search again the file does not appear. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not.

This is expected, the document was deleted after its pages were removed and the search results still have a row for it. Under the hood the document was renamed in the database, so this is what you see temporarily until the search is run again.

This is different than what they saw in Laserfiche 9.2. In 9.2 they never saw the renamed document.

This sounds similar to deletes for us. Not a big issue for us, since very few users have that access right, but I did notice that it requires a refresh or re-search, where as with 9.2 the item would disappear immediately.

I think the change since 9.2 is that the listing does not do a full refresh after dragging the pages.

Thanks Robert, will this be changed back in future updates?
