How do you go about compressing old audit logs?

Sorry about that, I missed the "old" part. There is no way to compress them.

You can use the LF Admin Console to set audit log compression. See instructions in the help file.

Yes, I set my new settings to compress. But the old files are still not compressed? What can I do to clean up the backlog.

I figured that would be the answer. Audit trail is just super slow (like 25-30 minutes to load) and I noticed the files wasn't compressed so I guess I will just have to delete them as time goes by and hope that it moves faster.
