Hi Priya,

I would recommend using Workflow to create a calendar event using the 'icalendar' activity and emailing the event through the workflow 'email' activity.

When I attach the icalendar file in the email, I get the email with attachment. When I click on atatchment, it always says "Meeting cannot be found in calendar". Any suggestions please?

Priya,

The processing of the ical file is up to the application you're using to receive mail, not Laserfiche. Is it Outlook or Gmail or what?

did you figure out how to make the ics file 'usable' in outlook?  I am trying to do the same thing today in workflow with ver 10.1.

I just ran into the scenario where I see "Meeting cannot be found in calendar". It appears the issue is due to the "Organizer" listed in the iCalendar invite. When the organizer opens the iCalendar invite you receive the above message. I believe it has to do with the invite searching for an existing event on the organizers calendar, as the invite won't actually "create" the event. Any attendee that receives the invite will be able to add the event just fine. So in my own workflow I just made the organizer appear as my workflow email.
