Question

shortcut key in webaccess

asked on July 25, 2016

Is it possible to assign shortcut keys to specific stamps?

We have documents that contain numerous records per page and we want our users to be able to quickly check them of and/or indicate issues with specific records, without having to first select a stamp from the toolbar.

Hi Boris,

That's a great idea! It's not possible in the currently released version of Web Access (10.1). However, in Web Access 11, users will be able to create custom toolbar buttons in the document viewer for commonly used stamps, rather than forcing users to click through the stamp dialog. This should help alleviate your main concern.

That said, custom keyboard shortcuts are a good and reasonable feature request. We'll look into adding them to Web Access in a future release.

Did this feature get added to 10.2 Web Access or still slated for 11.0? Custom buttons for a specific stamp is exactly what my client needs. Will this feature be added to the Client?

This feature would be very helpful, but not just in Web Access. In LF client I am not finding a way to bypass the Stamp dialog and assign a shortcut to a specific Stamp. Is this still a feature request and not something I am overlooking in the Client?
