asked on July 24, 2016 Show version history

Hi,

Is it possible to delete all the tasks from the database without deleting the business process from database? In my case,i worked in test server and moved the database in production server, now i need to delete all the tasks from database and new instance should start from production server.I hope it should be done with the help of SQL query.Any suggestion would be appreciated...

You can delete the instances which will delete the tasks linked to that instances as well.

You can't delete instances from tasks page, you can click Instances from View metrics action menu from processes page to go to instances page to delete instance.

Hi Xiang,

I have deleted all my instances and tasks by clicking View metrics action menu as you said, there are no instances showing now,but once i login with different user other than admin still it shows some old instances and tasks, and in database also '[cf_bp_main_instances]' table having instance details.so how could i clear all these old tasks from User's task page?

What version of Forms are you using? And when you login as different user, you check from the tasks page and My history page for that user to find there are still some old instances and tasks?  For these tasks and instances are them from the process you deleted?(check the process name column).

Sorry,Actually it was another process which copied from actual process, there are some instances stored with this process with same users,so got confused with that.now its cleared. Thanks
