Laserfiche integration with IBM Tivoli "Single Sign On" (SSO)

Hello,

 

Does Laserfiche support Single Sign On (SSO) if we are using Tivoli IBM product as SSO solution?

Is is available for the "normal" (thick) Laserfiche client interface (i.e. not WebAccess)?

Hi Ignacio,

Laserfiche Single Sign On is currently available for web products only (Web Access, Forms, and Discussions) and relies on the Laserfiche Directory Server.

If you are referring to the ability to login to the desktop client without entering credentials, then that will depend on how the IBM piece works. This sounds like something you may be able to do, though it will probably involve some custom scripting on the Laserfiche side.

let me clarify the need.

It is a university which has IBM TIvoli SSO solution used by their different portals.

- First Question: Can directory server retrieve users from IBM Tivoli SSO ?

- If yes, how to make a single sign on by allowing their portals users to login to Laserfiche automatically from their portals.
