Laserfiche Audit Trail delay

Dears,

what might be the cause of a delay for first time opening the audit trail configuration pages or reporting page. it always take time when opening it for a first time, then if we close the browser and open it for a second time, it opens quickly. After a time not working on audit, the same will happen.

NB: It is using any browser.

Hi Dory,

 

The first time you open Audit Trail, it's at this point that it loads the information from the logs into SQL for you to report on, hence the delay the first time you open it.

Actually, the logs are loaded continuously in the background once you set up a repository and date range. The first load is the website recompiling and the application pool warming up in IIS. Possible solutions are discussed in this thread and IIS documentation.

I did not find a solution for IIS 7, the solution provided is for IIS 7.5 and above.
