Instead of (or in addition to) having static template colors, it would be really nice if we had the ability to change a document's template color based on conditions, or just in an ad-hoc manner. For example, it would give us the ability to mark successfully processed documents with green, documents needing reviews with yellow (as in warning), and documents that produced errors with red.

Currently, in order to accomplish this, we are having to duplicate the template. For example, for an invoice template, we end up creating an "Invoice (Warnings)" and "Invoice (Errors)" template. For a variety of reasons, this isn't ideal. But status-based document icon coloring is something our clients have asked for.

Also, the current color selections seem very limited. Any chance we could define the colors using RGB or hex values? That would greatly expand the options.
