Signatures: only 'draw' available whilst filling out a form?

For one of my many forms that has a similar signature section set up. When you go to give your signature it only allows you to draw instead of offering both draw and type?

Can anyone tell me why this is happening? May be a simple fix.

I have a client that is having the same issue while trying to set a default signature from a PC. They have Forms version 10.1.0.559 and have tested on both Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Was there ever a resolution to this?

Hi Terri, can you run following command from the console tab of the developer tool for the browsers that your client ran into this issue?

navigator.userAgent || navigator.vendor || window.opera

following is what I got from Edge on Windows 10

Do you open the signature dialog from mobile device or PC with touch screen? It is supposed to only show draw when visit from mobile device.

Hi Christian, can you open the developer tool for Chrome and type following command in Console tab and check what value it is return?

navigator.userAgent || navigator.vendor || window.opera

We use this information to detect whether it is mobile device or not. Following is the result I got from the Chrome on my machine.
