Question

Multiple File Uploads on One Form

asked on July 13, 2016

I am having problems getting all the files uploaded to save correctly to the repository. I have a form that requires 4 different files to be uploaded along with it, but when it is saved to the repository, only one file is there with it. (In one case 2 came along.) The files all have different names, so I do not believe there is an overwriting issue. Any suggestions?

The error I was encountering was that the files were appearing to be fully uploaded, but, in reality, they were not completely uploaded. This problem was resolved simply by waiting for all the files to upload completely prior to submitting the form.

What version of Forms are you using? The submit button should be disabled when the files are still uploading, so you should not be able to submit the form before the files are uploaded completely.

Did you save the Save to repository service task first and add some file upload fields later? If do, please open the Save to repository service task again and save it again, then all the file upload field can be used by the save to repository service task.

Hi,

Are you storing all your attachments in the same location as your parent?

Could be access rights issue? Have you checked your event viewer for anything suspicious?
