Hi Grant,

This forms part of the export document right, which contains all aspects of exporting documents. You would need to raise this as a feature request. Ultimately this would probably boil down to a user training issue.

Cheers!

Hello Grant,

In regards to your question/request, I was wondering the use case or issue, in which you would want to prohibit users from sending an email link that contains the path of the said entry?

Regards,

We have developed a Board Meeting Process , and the client requires strict protocols. Minutes will be viewed by app only. While the link that is sent is useless , I would prefer the app user not to be able to action in the first place.

Sorry pic a bit big , hopefully explains my ? better cheers

Hi,

This sounds like a feature that you don't want to use. Is there a security concern related to it?

It's a useful feature for some users to share within company while people want the document stay in the repository. It's not that commonly used so we put it in the context menu.

From what I understand, hiding features that's not in use for each user might be too much granulated customizable settings.

Let me know if I miss any point here like you might be worried about security or we can make it clearer what "email link" does so that users won't use it if not necessary.

Thank you.

Yes - "Is there a security concern related to it?" , I understand that it does not expose any files that you lock down , however it is more of a: if i could hide this feature then the client would not be worried in the first place , if you get my meaning. As you say I can educate client, i was just enquiring if it was possible to hide.

Thanks for your responses Julia
