Question

Hide rules tied to lookup value

asked on July 12, 2016

I have a field that is either Yes or No.  Based on that value I have show/hide rules on the Form.  However, when the field is filled in via a stored procedure, the rules do not work.  I have to click and select the same same from the dropdown.  It seems that Laserfiche does not recognize that the value is in the field.  Any way to fix this?

Here is a shot showing that the No got to the field.

However flipping it to Yes and then back to No works and hides the address info.

Hi Chris,

I tested this and I was able to show/hide fields based on field values populated by database lookup. What are the field rules on the fields you're trying to hide? Thanks!

What version of Forms you are using? Please take a screenshot for the lookup rule as well

Thanks for the responses.  We are on Forms 10.1.0.559.

We are using a Stored Procedure to pull back all the information.  Also note that this whole thing is a collection.  Basically its Provider information associated with a benefit.  You can have multiple benefits per application so that is why it's a collection.  Multiple collection do return and populate so that is working.
