In previous versions of web access, there was an export page limit setting in the config file. In Web Access 10, this feature has been removed. However, I'm limited by the number of pages. It's somewhere over 1000 pages. I can download the file in two parts. The file is 1652 pages. Anyone know why I get an HTTP error when trying to download the entire file?

This has been identified as an issue with Web Access 10.1 when downloading in the following circumstances:
- One is downloading the image pages of an entry (as opposed to, say, the electronic document component).
- One is downloading the images in PDF format.
- There are a large number of pages in the document. [Note: this seems to be an arbitrary length and seems to also depend on the disk size of individual pages in the document.]
Then the "Error in HTTP Response Body" message will manifest and the download will fail. The workarounds would be one of the following:
- For electronic documents where it is not needed to include any Laserfiche annotations on Laserfiche pages in the download, download "Electronic Document" instead of "Images".
- Download the document Image pages as a format other than PDF.
- Break the document into smaller parts (as noted in the original post).
- Use the desktop Client instead of Web Access.
SCR 146788 has been filed for this and is targeted for fix in an upcoming release of Web Access.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
Hi,
Do you know what errors are shown if any in the web console. I am just guessing that it could be the HTTP Content-Length error but i am not sure. How big is the file size before and after you split it.
John's document's total page size is 93.59MB. I would like to think that is a relatively small size. I believe this is a page number issue. Setting the WA logging level to debug does not provide any additional helpful details. This has been tested with several different browsers. Also, tested locally on the WA server with same results (LFS and repository path is local there too). Can export pages from Desktop Client with no problem.
Splitting the document is an option but would rather find the root cause.
