Assign Field Values in Workflow is not assigning template

I am trying to create a workflow that takes information from a form and inserts it into a word document in our repository. So far everything works perfectly, except that the Assign Field Values function is not assigning the template I have designated, even though the Assign template option is selected. The weird thing is that it still assigns all of the metadata just fine, it simply leaves the template blank. I have also double checked that the workflow is published properly and that Validate Workflow shows no errors, the problem still persists. I have attached a screenshot showing how I have the Assign Field Values set up. Our workflow designer is version 10.0.0.249.

 

Any help would be appreciated!

Nevermind, I figured it out. One of the fields had a character limit that was being exceeded. Once I changed that it assigns fine.
