Access rights to apply to a folder and then to a document separately

Hi,

I need to setup access rights so users are not able to delete folders but they can delete Documents.

 

There's a lot of folders and all inherit from the Sub Root Folder per department. How do i set this up from the root to Inherit that they Don't delete Folders, but can delete documents.

Hi Gert,

One way to do this would be using the "scope" when setting the user's access rights. If I've understood correctly you'll need to set the access rights on the root folder with the scope of "Documents Only", and allow the delete right as shown below:
