Offline Forms

Hi - Does anyone have success in being to download a form to an iOS or Andriod device.  

We are trying to build an offline forms process with no success.

The download appears to initiate and then shows 0% Status downloading.  We left this running overnight to ensure the process was really not working.

What's your form server version?

Forms server is running version 10.1 and Mobile / Application server is V10.  Update 1 has been applied to the environment as per https://support.laserfiche.com/KB/1013727

Forms 10 was good, but update 1 has an issue with saving offline forms and Forms team are working on Update 2 at the moment.

Is there an ETA on update 2?  

We have an urgent demonstration of offline capabilities to a prospect. Alternativeley is rolling back from Update 1 a possibility to restore functionality.  Is so how do we do this.

Hi Paul,  Forms has re-released update 1 to include the fix for issue for offline form, please re-download Update 1 from https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1013775and run the new LaserficheForms1010579.exe directly over the previous Update 1 installation.

Hi  - I've applied the re-realised update 1 to our DEV ennvironement which has fixed the issue. 

However this issue is not resolved in our Demo environment (same Forms & Mobile release) and same server image.  The offline forms download runs to 99% complete and does not gracefully complete the download.  As shown in attached screen grab.

Hi Paul,

Could you uninstall and reinstall Laserfiche app and try again?

Hi Natalie - sorry I should of clarified in my post, I've allready tried this approach a number of times with Laserfiche app and Forms Update 1 patch (inc server reboots)

Hello Paul,

 

Within the App, can you go into settings, and then go into Versions and list all the versions that are placed there? that should include

1) Forms Server

2) Mobile Server

3) App Version

4) Laserfiche Server version.

Hi - The versions of the components are listed in the attachment.  I have double checked to ensure the working environment for offline forms and the environment that is not, are at exactly the same release version.

Hi Paul,

We are unable to reproduce the issue at the moment, could you please open a support case, and provide us your exported form if possible?

Hello Dory,

 

If your case is exactly the same with the same version, can you please open a support case, and also provide the form you are using to support, and we can try to recreate it on our end?

solved by upgrading all related products to latest versions
