Cloud SQL

Has anyone set up an environment where your LF Application server is on premise but you have moved your database to a Cloud SQL instance.  Using something like Google Cloud SQL or something like that?  Does anyone know if Laserfiche even can run on a Google Cloud SQL instance or does the LF server not see those types of instances?

I don't know of anything personally......but I would imagine it would run dog slow....we had this come up recently....

Documentation seems to indicate Google Cloud SQL is only running MySQL, so that wouldn't work.

What about running it in Azure?

That should work, but it will most likely be slow, like Chris said. Might be faster if you also host LFS in the Cloud within the same region as SQL.
