Saving incoming and outgoing emails

Hi All, 

 

Hope all is well, 

 

We are looking at a way to save incoming and outgoing emails from outlook using a popup to index? is this something Laserfiche is able to do? Client has another software that can do it, and would love for Laserfiche to be able to do this as well?

 

Basically, when they currently send an email or close an opened inward email they get a pop box asking them where to save it? most emails are saved in appropriate client section or internal categories some where in the application they are currently using. The user has the option to save the emails or to cancel the pop up screen..

Hi Ziad,

 

There is no functionality within Laserfiche that can prompt to archive emails and is something I'm still surprised Laserfiche have not included within the office integration piece.

 

Currently the only option is to deploy 3rd party add-ons for Laserfiche. We supply and support CMA Email Manager which seems to work pretty well, but a quick google search will show you all that is available, all doing pretty much the same thing but slightly differently.

Thank you for the response, I will be looking into the addons you mentioned.. 

 

Wonder if anyone from Laserfiche will have any input as well?
