Laserfiche Community Code of Conduct
Please:
-
Be thoughtful, polite, and respectful when you post question and answers. The users, resellers, and Laserfiche employees in this community are your peers. You will interact with them frequently on this site and might meet them at our yearly conference.
-
When you respond to a question, you’re adding to the conversation. Make sure that your comments are relevant, useful, and appropriate. Respond to the specific issues mentioned in the question directly and clearly; and try to provide enough information to solve the problem. Responses that do not contribute to the conversation because they are inappropriate or off-topic will be removed.
-
Keep your remarks clean and on point. Bigotry, profanity, obscenity, insults and other distasteful or disrespectful language will not be tolerated.
-
Ask thoughtful questions and add categories to make it easier for others to help you. Poorly-phrased, ambiguous questions are difficult for others to answer. Reread your question carefully before posting because you are responsible for providing information that is clear and understandable to enable others to answer your question.
-
Make sure that you comply with all federal, state and local laws in posting material, and that you do not infringe the intellectual property rights of anyone else.
Please Don't:
-
Don’t ask marginally-related or unrelated questions within other questions. By doing so, you bury useful information and make it harder for users to find just what they’re looking for. If you have a question, ask it as a question and not as a response to another user’s question.
-
Don’t repeatedly post the same question. When a user has an answer to your question, they’ll answer you. There’s no need to ask it repeatedly. Duplicate questions will be removed.
-
Don’t attempt to impersonate anyone else, whether a Laserfiche employee, manager, host, administrator, moderator, reseller, user or any other person.
-
Don’t post any content that is protected by intellectual property laws, rights of privacy or publicity, or any other applicable law unless you own or control the rights to it and have received all necessary consents.
