Hi-

We are looking for any companies (that may be reference-able) using Oracle EBS, that have integrated, to 'whatever' degree, with LF.  We are working with a large utility company that uses Oracle EBS and they are exploring different ECM systems.

If you need additional information, please let me know.

Thank you.

I created a template for HR employee-related documents and use a workflow to query EBS based on the employee number entered in the template to fill in the employee's name, department, latest hire date, latest termination date, and employment status.

Basically, create a template with this information plus a document type/name list. Make the employee number required and engage a workflow on import to an import folder. The user enters the employee number and document type, then the workflow fills in the rest of the metadata and routes the document(s) to a folder for the employee.

Hello Jennifer,

I did some research on our Solution Exchange and found a few case studies that you might be able to use as references. This scenario details how Laserfiche is integrated with Oracle EBS, specifically its Financial System. In another scenario, the same company incorporated Oracle Accounting System and Laserfiche into their business process.

In addition, if you're looking to write directly to an Oracle Database specifically, you can accomplish this using Workflow right out of the box. If you're looking to pass information between Laserfiche and Oracle Forms, you can utilize Laserfiche Connector to pass information between interfaces.

Hopefully these examples can give you some ideas on how to get started. I've also tagged your post with appropriate topics so that VARs with similar experiences can chime in.
