That is the right place to configure Forms to call it over SSL. Did you set the Workflow web service to use SSL already? That would be turning on SSL for the "Workflow" application in IIS on the Workflow server machine, then updating the web service URL in the Workflow Admin Console.

After enabling it, event log still shows that its trying to access the http side.

The URL is cached in Forms. Did you restart the Forms Routing Service?

After restarting the Forms Routing Service, there are no more errors within the event viewer, but there are also no status indication of workflow is getting kicked off.

In your first screenshot, is the "Service Task" the workflow task? Its status is completed so what is the issue "no status indication of workflow is getting kicked off"?

Rui,

Forms shows that the task has been completed, but the workflow itself is not running when checked using the history search. Another word, forms shows that it ran, but in the workflow itself is not running.

Can you try an invalid workflow name and start the process to see if the workflow would still show as completed on Forms? And is there any error logged?

And can you try set "Wait until the workflow finishes before proceeding" on the workflow service, and see if there can be any error?
