Canon Image Formula DR-C225 scanner error message

I keep getting this error message when scanning documents into LF using a Canon ImageFormula DR-C225 scanner  and the only way that I've been able to continue scanning is to shut down my computer completely and restart; and restart scanning the entire document. 

 

Here is the error message "Device could not be locked. Make sure not in use with another application (-4630)" Any suggestions?

 

I am using Laserfiche Client version 9.0

If you use another application (not LF), preferably the default scanning application installed by the scanner, does it work or do you get a message there too when LF scanning is not involved?

Hi -

 

Thank you for your time, I only get this error message when I'm scanning into LF.  Otherwise, the scanner works fine for other work.

If you reboot the box and have someone login with their windows/LF account, then try to scan in LF, do they get the same behavior on your machine?

Do you get the same behavior with any scan engine or only a specific one? If the latter, which one?
