In the admin console, select the user and go to the Attributes tab

Highlight the first item by left clicking on it once. Scroll down to the last item, then hold down your shift key and click on the last item. This will highlight everything in the list.

Click on the "Export" key

The next window will ask you where you want to save the file. Select a network location that the server you are moving these over to can access.

On the new server, Open up the Admin Console and go to the user. Select "Import" from the Attributes tab.

Browse to the location where you saved the file. and select "Open"

At that point you can select "OK" at the bottom of the user and the attributes will be saved. You can then go to the next user and import to them. You can use the same attributes file for all users. This works the same if you are using Laserfiche users or Windows Accounts.

Are you talking about the user attributes? If you are, you can export the attributes and then import them into the users on the other server. There are some settings however that reside in the registry keys on the client workstation.

Yes, that is what I am asking about.  How do you export them?  I appreciate your help!

Great tip! It was exactly I was looking for. Thank you.

Now, I have more than a few tens of users, would it be OK just copying/inserting their attributes value in the database table ([trustee_attr]) directly using SQL script? I know it is dangerous to change the db directly but repeating the above step for all users is ... This is because we haven't gone live yet. I created all the users and want them to have exactly the same initial settings.
