the given key was not present in the dictionary error

asked on March 24, 2015 Show version history

when i try to open the metadata field in the document i get this error "the given key was not present in the dictionary" , and i tried to find why i got this error and i found out that if there is one list field getting information from external table and i applied a security to hide this field from the user  i got this error .

but for other users that has access to that field works fine and no error appears

What is the version of LF server and client that you are using?

Also, would you let us know of the mobile server version and app version and  mobile's OS?

Thanks for reporting this issue. We were able to recreate it using the latest versions of Laserfiche (LFS 9.2.1, Mobile Server 9.2.1, iOS app 9.2.1, Android app 9.2.2). We'll update the thread when more information is available.

we have laserfiche rio 9.2 

and this error happening with IOS  and android  app (latest updated version from store).

We are also getting this error message in the DCC Administrator when we select Machines.  Then it does not display any of the workers, even though the jobs are still running successfully.  This is 9.1 Rio, and the error occurs as a normal user and as a system administrator.

Bill,

Please start a new thread or perhaps open a support case for the matter. While the error message may be the same, the application being used and the context in which the error occurs does not match up with what the OP described.

Not at the moment. We'll update this thread when a new version of the mobile app that contains this fix is available.
