Agenda Manager Publishing Question after upgrading to Windows 7 and Adobe 10

asked on August 19, 2014

We have an Agenda Manager customer upgrading their workstations to Windows 7 64 bit and installing Adobe 10.  Will there be issues with publishing agendas?

As you can see in the Supported OS List, Agenda Manager 8 is compatible with Windows 7.  I wasn't able to find any information regarding Agenda Manager's compatibility with Adobe past 9.0+ Standard/Pro.  Keep in mind, this doesn't necessarily mean that there will be issues when publishing, but simply that we haven't tested past 9.0+.  If possible, I'd roll out to Adobe 10, but make sure that you have a rollback plan if you need to revert back to a previous version.

Whatever you find, please update the results on this thread so others can benefit from this testing.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

We have a different Agenda Manager customer that had to stay with Adobe 9 with Windows 7 64 bit and also had this to report "We have had issues since switching to  Windows 7 with our normal.dotm template being locked.  It seems that Windows 7 doesn’t close the template when closing Word.  I have shown the users where this is located under AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates and they can delete the file if they get the error message. "

If this customer is using Agenda Manager 8, Word 2003 or 2007, and Windows 7, and they are still finding issues, I would suggest opening a case with our Support  team.  As seen in the help files, this should be a supported configuration.
