Can Snapshot (RIO 9.1.1) create single pages from a multipage word document?

There are options in the "Document Handling" tab of Laserfiche Snapshot to Create a new document, but no choice to create new document per page. I know this option is available in scanning where you can select to break the document per page. Can Snapshot do this? If so, how? Thank You.

What you can do is:

Search the repository

For each entry

Repeat (condition can be until entry has 0 pages)

Move pages (1st page each time)

You can experiment with this. The attachment is the example I described.

If you are breaking the document per page you can do this in Workflow. First you would have to generate the pages manually for the document and then have Workflow process them after. In Workflow you can move Laserfiche pages to a new document. I would search the repository first and then use the move pages option to move each page of the document to a new document. I'm not sure though how you would iterate through each page though.

Thanks Cristobal! Was looking for a quick resolution using Snapshot for the user, while they wait for me to build the process in quickfields or workflow.

Snapshot should definitely be able to create image pages directly from Word documents. I don't know what Answers post you are referring to, but if you are unable to generate image pages from Word documents using Snapshot in the desktop Client, that's not the expected behavior.

You may want to start a new question about your issues, or open a support case.

Not sure what was causing the issue, but tried again today and it works fine. Maybe it was user error!
