Question

Question

Generated LFMOBILE:// URLs

asked on April 16, 2014

I have been trying out the WebAccess URL generation workflow activity and I can't figure out the usage of the LFMobile:// URL that is generated.

How can I get my android phone to use that URL to launch the Mobile app?  Is it supposed to be a clickable link somehow?

For Android, not all the mail app recognize s the lfmobile:// as a hyper llink.

What you can do is to copy the url to browser and hit go. It'll launch the LF Mobile app from there.

However, based on different Android OS and built-in browser, some browser might not work with it. For example, on Andoid4.2, chrome doesn't launch LFMobile, but Firefox can launch LFMobile.

LFMOBILE:// links are clickable in iOS. I use them on the iPhone/iPad apps. For example, when this link is inserted into an email and delivered to a mobile user, the LF mobile app will launch automatically when selected.  I haven't tested with android.

Hi Everyone,

I have installed LF 10.1, I am using LF mobile and on IOS the link works fine but when I tested on Android it does not appear as a link. Is there a possibility to make this link clickable on Android please?

Kind Regards,

Ketsia
