ZoneOCR with Customized OCR Engine

Hello,

 

as you know, there is a way in Laserfiche to use a Customized OCR engine instead of Omnipage. This option is very useful to OCR non latin languages, such as Arabic.

 

My question is if we can configure Laserfiche to also use this Customized OCR Engine in other phases of the document capture, like while using ZoneOCR in QuickFields, or OCR page processing from the Scanning interface.

 

Any suggestion/guidelines would be most appreciated.

There is not. You could, however, use a custom OCR engine through the Custom Process in Quick Fields.
