Does Forms have the capability to send an email to the submitter once a form has been assigned to someone? We have a team that the form goes to but we want the end user to know once someone has actually taken ownership of the form.

I haven't done this - but I think if you attach a timer event to the user task and trigger it to run 1 minute after the task starts (without repeating, and without interrupting the task) and have that timer run into an email task, then you could have that email send to the initiator with the desired information.
I was thinking the same thing but the timer wouldn't account if someone on the team actually took the task, but that the task was assigned to a team. I think Patrick wants a notification that it was actually taken by someone which would be great so it doesn't sit out there for day ignored. I'm just not sure if there is something coded in the task that would trigger that.
Yeah, I don’t believe there is any built-in way to trigger something by the act of a team member claiming the task. Sorry.
I'm looking for what Angela explained. That you both for your expertise on this.
