Windows client not updating with install package

asked on March 28

I've found that with the most recent v11 from Laserfiche, it's not recognizing that there is an update available for Windows Client and just prompting to modify/repair/uninstall. I've found that we're having to do a full uninstall of the Windows Client, then install from the ISO in order to get the latest .274 update. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

That is expected, though maybe somewhat confusing, behavior. Updates will be applied when you go through "repair".

I've been working a lot of with upgrading workstations from 10.4 to 11.0.2305.274.

I've had some get stuck partway through the install (I'm doing a silent install from a server) they end up showing the version as 11.0.2102.  This, along with a lot of other trial and error, along with paying close attention to an in-progress install and the version showing while it is happening, has led me to believe that what the installer is doing is installing version 11.0.2102 and then applying several hotfixes to get it up to version 11.0.2305.

I've been able to get a workstation from 11.0.2102 to 11.0.2305 via either selecting modify/repair for the install or manually installing the individual hotfixes (which you can find in the contents of the ISO in this file path: \en\WindowsClient\Updates).

Hope this information is helpful.  Have a nice day!
