List of Changes KB Articles Missing Product Version Numbers

asked on August 1, 2023

During one of the User Group webinars someone brought up that a few of the "List of Changes" KB Articles do not have product version numbers included on them and instead just say something like Audit Trail 11 Update 5. Some include the version number with the list of files that have been updated. This makes it hard for administrators to know what updates have already been applied to their systems. Below is a list of "List of changes" KB Articles I have found that do not include a product version number for version 11 products:

This is great!

I also wish there was an easy to read consolidated page with a list of all the products and their latest release version, along with a link to where we can find it (if it isn't part of the main package - like Connector).

I had seen that page before - but it doesn't list the version numbers - and it could be improved for readability.  At least in my opinion.

Rest assured we're aware that page has terrible readability.

Blake, we're working on getting those KB articles updated with version/build numbers. We appreciate you putting together the list!

Something else that would be useful if Laserfiche is going to continue to name their updates, can those names be included in the About pages of the various of applications? For example, Forms currently says "Laserfiche Forms Professional Version 11.0.2212.30987". Could it be updated to say "Laserfiche Forms Professional Version 11.0.2212.30987 (Update 3)" or something similar?

I agree that listing the full version numbers with in the release and/or list of changes KBs is desperately needed.  Without the Version numbers, we have no way of knowing what update the customers are running.
