All PDFs opened in repo show as blank white page in the Mobile App on the iOS operating system

Is anyone else noticing this, tested across multiple devices and the same thing is happening. PDFs only show when viewed on the Android OS, so it does not appear to be a server side issue but a local client OS issue.

Started a couple weeks ago, worked before that.

Per Francis Gu: "The hotfix has been released. You can update the app to Version 2022.2.4 and try again."

Hi all,

We've identified the root cause of this issue as a new bug in the underlying iOS mobile development framework used by the Laserfiche App. Fortunately, there is a code workaround we've verified resolves the issue and we're actively working on a fix for the App.

Thank you to everyone who provided sample documents and other information that helped us troubleshoot this issue.

Same here. Viewing pages works just fine, but if a PDF is part of the document, I just see a white screen when viewing the electronic file.

Hi Chad and Jacob,

I am able to view PDFs with the latest version (2022.1.28.733004) on iOS just now. Could you open a support case on this, so we can further investigate?

@████████ and @████████ could you please provide the full build number(s) of both the Laserfiche App for iOS and iOS itself where you're experiencing this PDF viewing issue?

Screenshot attached here of the ‘versions’ page on the mobile app. iOS version is 15.2.1 (19C63).

Thank you. We've verified this issue and an initial investigation shows it appears to affect some PDFs but not others. The team is continuing to investigate and we'll provide an update when we have more information.

In order to help speed this process, could you please open a support case referencing this Answers post and attach some sample PDFs that don't open properly?

I'm having the same issue and my App version is the same as Jacobs, but I'm on LF mobile server version 10.3.1.14123 and LF server 10.4.2.376.

The PDF is was testing with is the Getting Started with Laserfiche Guide. My users are trying to open DocuSign pdfs with no success but I can not upload those ones. My users started noticing these issues about 2 weeks ago so whatever changed up the last update to the iPhone app must have caused this. Before then, opening PDF worked just fine.
