Directory Server Errors

asked on June 22, 2017

Our Directory Server seems to be very slow.  During my investigation I found the Event Viewer...Laserfiche...Directory Server...Server...Operational Trace log was filled with the following error (Event ID 2):

System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[Laserfiche.LicenseManager.LMFault]: Exception of type 'Laserfiche.LicenseManager.TrusteeNotFoundException' was thrown. (Fault Detail is equal to Laserfiche.LicenseManager.LMFault).

Type:
System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[Laserfiche.LicenseManager.LMFault]

Stack Trace:
   at Laserfiche.LicenseManager.LicenseCacheEntry.GetSidNameUse(String name, String organizationName)
   at Laserfiche.LicenseManager.LicenseManagerService.LookupTrusteeName(LicenseManagerServiceCallArgs _args)
   at Laserfiche.LicenseManager.LicenseManagerService.DispatchFunction(LicenseManagerServiceCall func, LicenseManagerServiceCallArgs args)

The user that it is referencing is the Active Directory account which most of our Laserfiche services run under.

Any thoughts on the cause or solution?

No, I never found a resolution.  It is still an issue.

For me the solution was to check each one of the groups being monitored for the synchronizatron process vs the clients ad.

After a very slow process we found that several of them had their names changed and others had been deleted so once we make those updates in ds that specific problem was solved.

Now we have a synchronization issue but thats another case.

Hope this info help you with your case.

This was our issue as well.  After going through the allowed RIO licensed AD groups, there was some groups that no longer existed in AD, but were still in the RIO rules.  After removing them the sync error cleared.
