Staff in the various departments scan documents into a holding folder in Laserfiche, which I then process through Quickfields. Is there a way I can maintain the identity of the original creator and the creation date? Right now, all items I am processing get my information and the date I have processed it. Basically, it creates a new document.
I am mainly using the sessions to pull metadata. Can I simply alter the scanned copy without making a completely new document? Am I simply missing a setting somewhere?
