Direct Connectivity of Laserfiche Forms & Template with MS Active Directory (official Input required)

I would like to know the best practice for the Direct Connectivity for Laserfiche Forms & Template with MS Active Directory, as per the answer in the link below is to link Laserfiche Metadata field to look up a user/group in LDAP, as the SQL view will be used to create an external table “email List” in Laserfiche MS SQL DB to be linked to Laserfiche Metadata fields using Dynamic List

However, our client is requesting formal official input from Laserfiche for the Direct Connectivity of Laserfiche Forms & Template with MS Active Directory. 

 

Does any one have something similar from official resource related to Laserfiche in this regard?

Neither Forms nor the Laserfiche Server have a field whose data type is "user" at this point. So there is no way to select a user directly from Active Directory/LDAP at this point when filling in forms or setting metadata on documents.

Kindly advise should you have the best practice procedures to retrieve users dynamically somewhere, as recommended by Laserfiche.

Laserfiche does not have a preferred method. The post you linked at the beginning of this thread recommends one.
