Intermittent 9010 error

asked on April 26, 2017

I have a customer that is having their user intermittently receiving a 9010 error when they try to log in.  Then after about 10 minutes, the issue resolves itself.

They are on Rio and using Windows Authentication.  While it does resolve itself, it is a big irritant when they cannot access their records when they need to.  They want to figure out what is causing the problem so that it can be resolved.  To track this down, what monitors need to be add to trace server side performance?  They want to initiate tracing both client side and server side while they are experiencing the issue to try to narrow down what is happening, but I do not know what should be monitored.  Any help/suggestions are welcome.

I would first check the domain controller for errors in the event viewer. During this 10 minute period, are other applications failing as well or is this confined to the Laserfiche client?

The only thing failing in their environment is the LF Client logins.  I will ask them to check for errors on the DC.

The event logs on the DC had no errors at the time of failed Laserfiche logins.  So what else should be done to trace the issue?

We also have this issue, it can be resolved by restarting the LicenseManagerWCF  service bit we cannot track down what is causing it and it keeps happening about once a week even with a script that restarts that service every day.

This sounds like it would be best handled in a support case so that we can more deeply troubleshoot the issue. It's not something we have seen internally, but hopefully a support case would help us isolate the cause.
