Rio 10.2 Forms - Disable Single Sign-On

asked on March 22, 2017

Greetings,

We are implementing our Rio Forms solution.  However, SSO was configured by our VAR at the time of install.  We were unsure of the implications of SSO at the time and it seems that we may be better served at present without SSO configured.

However, we are having some difficulty trying to disable it.  We see that it is configured in this screen:

But there does not seem to be a way to deactivate this setting so we can test without SSO for this phase of our implementation.

Any suggestions/ideas are welcome and greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Forms does not support change from Laserfiche Directory Server Authentication back to repository Laserfiche Server Authentication as there is no way to migrate the accounts from Laserfiche Directory Server to Laserfiche Server repository.

The only unofficial way to change back to Laserfiche Server is modify the cf_options table of the Forms database directly, remove following options:

  • IsLfdsSSL
  • LFDSAdminSid
  • LFDSDb
  • LFDSOneTimeEnabled
  • LFDSServer
  • LFDSUseName

Then reconfigure the User Authentication to user Laserfiche Server Authentication. After this change, non Windows users may not be able see their tasks/history as the accounts from the repository may not match the accounts in Laserfiche Directory Server.

This did the trick.  Thank you very much.

This worked for me too. Thank you! One thing for anyone else having to do this is that we had to delete each option and its associated value, so just blanking out the values for each option wasn't enough.

Then after that we restarted the LF Forms and LF Server services, and then when we went into Forms Configuration it reflected that the server is now using the local LF database and not LFDS.
