How To: Move Post to Group

asked on March 16, 2017 Show version history

We often have users that do not post in the correct group or a group at all. Because of this it would be nice if an administrator could move a post to a group.

If you Edit the main post, you'll have the options of where to move the group; it's not a separate button. [example: https://www.screencast.com/t/Hl3zm54zofiH]

We can do that. Just flag the posts as you find them and a moderator will take care of it.

Can we do this in our own Discussions installation?

Hi Blake, yes, a user with the Administer Site privilege can reassign posts to groups.

Where is this done at? I have the Administer Site privilege but am unable to find where I would reassign a post to a group.

We are on Discussions 10.1.0.239.
