Greetings!

Who's getting excited about Empower?  :)

 

Since we don't have a welcome thread for this year yet, here it is!

So, please introduce yourself.  

How many Empower conferences have you been to?

What sessions are you looking forward to?  

Newbies, what questions do you have?  Non-newbies - what advice can you offer?

 

My name is Michael Wells.  I work for the Chesterfield County, VA local government and I'm responsible for the desktop support group which includes Laserfiche Administration among its many duties.  I've been doing Laserfiche for about 11 years now.

This will be my 6th Empower, having previously attended 2007, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.

I'm looking forward to lots of Forms courses and user sessions, which are always so informative.

Advice - I'm going to start another thread for advice...  :)

Coming down from Ontario, Canada and work for local government. My Township is about to embark on Laserfiche and this is a great opportunity to dive in and learn as much as I can!

I'm Laura. I work for Aspen Contracting, and we are a nationwide company. I am responsible for all the systems in our company, and have one admin person on my team to assist with the data entry. I enjoy working with all of the departments to figure out how they work and what we can do to make things easier and more efficient. I have been working with Laserfiche for 7 years now. 

This will be my 4th conference. 2012, 2014, & 2016

I am looking forward to Workflow classes, and the labs. Even the basic beginner classes I learn something new every time.

My name is Deanna Casey, from Central Point Oregon. This will be my 4th Empower. I always enjoy the hands on labs. We didn't have the Records Management module or Workflow last year. I am looking forward to relearning a lot of what I took last year. We have both programs up and running now.

My name is Cynthia, and I'm coming down from Alberta Canada. I'm soooo excited!!!

This will be my first Empower conference, and I'm hoping that it will be the first of many!!

I think I'm looking forward to all of the design based sessions, but I'm pretty excited about all of them! ❤
